Don't Know What to Write? I've Got You Covered with Poetry & Prose Prompts for Every Day of September!

Happy September! School is back in session, summer is drawing to a close, and it's that time of year when we re-commit to our writing resolutions.

I usually start my writing day with some journaling, then, before I sit down to work on my latest writing project, I do a timed writing session where I read a prompt and let it lead my creative direction. (You can learn more about my process here).

While there's no shortage of prompts to be found by conducting a quick Google search, I find it helpful to limit my options. That's why I've sometimes make myself a list of prompts for the month, and I thought I'd share my September prompts with you all!
