Greetings, creatives!

November is almost here, and I know that in the US, in addition to football and Thanksgiving, for writers, the month is often associated with a big goal: write the first draft of a novel in 30 days.

I've participated in that challenge before, and I think there are benefits to it. But it can also be overwhelming and frustrating. So this November, I'm looking at the month as an opportunity to nurture your writing life in small, meaningful ways.

For that reason, instead of chasing big word counts, I’m inviting you to join me for something more sustainable: a Gentle 30-Day Writing Challenge.

This challenge is all about micro-writing—short, daily exercises you can fit into even the busiest schedule. Each day in November, you’ll receive a simple prompt to spark your creativity. Ten minutes, one page, or a few lines is enough.

The goal is all about showing up for yourself and your creativity.

Why join a 30-Day writing challenge?

Daily writing builds momentum, sharpens your craft, and makes space for surprise. And the best part? You only need a few minutes a day to feel the benefits.

While this is a work-at-your-own-pace challenge, there will be a free downloadable workbook to guide you through all 30 days, and you can always email or message me as you work through the guide.

📅 The official kickoff post (with the full PDF) will go live here on November 1, so mark your calendars! You don't need to register or sign in anywhere. Just come back to my website in a few days and download your free guide!

I can’t wait to share this 30-Day Writing Challenge with you—let’s make November a month of small, steady creative wins.

Happy writing!
