"Body of Memory" Wins the Atlanta Review Chapbook Prize!
When I found out that The Physics of After had won the Wolfson Poetry Prize, I assumed that would be my big poetry news of the year.
Apparently 2026 had other plans.
I’m thrilled to share that the Atlanta Review has named my manuscript Body of Memory the winner of its 2026 Chapbook Prize!
I'm honestly a little stunned to have two chapbooks selected for publication in the same year. These collections hold different pieces of my writing life, and the fact that both will in print soon still feels slightly crazy. But I'm excited! :)
I’m deeply grateful to the readers and editors at Atlanta Review for moving this collection through the reading rounds, and to the judge, Joan Kwon Glass for selecting it as the winner. Many thanks, too, to all the friends and peers who encouraged these poems along the way.
With warmth & gratitude,
